WHAT TO EXPECT

From Our Process

Intention

Before we get started on your space we start we want to get to know you. We’ll begin with a virtual consultation to learn your project goals, vision, and desires. We’ll then come see your space in person to take photos, measurements of the space, and finalize your end goal. If you want to purge on your own, we can give you prompts at that time to help you get started on your journey.

Like with like

The first step to getting organized is seeing what you have. When it’s all in groups of like with like you can easily see where you may have redundancy. Deciding what needs to stay and what needs to go can be the hardest part for some. We like to make piles – KEEP, TRASH, GIVE. The KEEP pile gets set aside for our efficiency stage where we create a new system of sustainability based on simplifying the space. The TRASH pile will go with us when we leave. We will also help you decide the most appropriate new home for items in the GIVE pile. We will remove and/or relocate any trash or donations for you (upto one car load per project). We are passionate about upcycling donated new and gently used items to local charitable organization. Once everything is sorted, we make sure the space is clean and ready for organizing, containment (baskets, bins, etc.), and beautification.

Beauty in efficiency

Once we know what is staying, we need to find a place for everything in a way that works for your space and the way you envision living in it. There is so much beauty in pulling open a drawer and seeing that every item has a place to belong. We incorporate, baskets, bins, labels, and other organizational tools to create an efficient use of space that is sustainable after we leave.

Giving back

We love our local community and all that Middle Tennessee gives us. We are committed to supporting our local businesses and charitable organizations when possible. We are always working to find new charitable organizations in our community that are helping to bless our community. If you know of an organization you’d like your new or gently used donations to upcycle to that we are not already supporting, please share your knowledge. It takes a village!
